There are so many ways to use everyday items
to turn Trash to Treasure.
Here is a crafting project idea from a basic
household item .
Coffee Filters - You can use
coffee filters to create butterflies.
Using food coloring and a little bit of water
you can add color to the coffee filter to make colorful and
vibrant butterflies. When they are dry just pinch the center of
the filter together.
Use two filters , One to create the top wings
and one for the bottom wings. You can use pipe cleaners to hold
them together to make the body and create the antenna's. This is
also a great school project for kids.
You can also try this project with a used
coffee filter to create a grungy, primitive butterfly, too!
Remove the coffee grains and gently rinse . It's already coffee
stained for you, or just brush on your own coffee stain with a
paint brush. To see pictures of the project they are posted on
Mandie's
Blog.
Just
add a magnet on the back or a wire hanger to create an ornament.
Use a wooden skewer to create a floral pick and add them to
spring time floral arrangements, potted plants or a wreath.
